LEAD: United Press International asked a Federal court on Monday for an injunction to prevent Reuters from backing out of a photo exchange agreement between the two news agencies.
Anna Musytschuk (auch Musitschuk; ukrainisch Анна Музичук oder Ганна Музичук, slowenisch Ana Muzičuk, beim Weltschachbund FIDE Anna Muzychuk; * 28. Februar 1990 in Lwiw) ist eine ukrainische Schachspielerin und Großmeisterin. Sie spielte von Juni 2004 bis Mai 2014 für den slowenischen Schachverband. 2014 und 2016 wurde sie Weltmeisterin im Blitzschach; 2016 wurde sie zudem Weltmeisterin im Schnellschach; 2017 wurde sie Vize-Weltmeisterin gegen Tan Zhongyi bei der Schach-Weltmeisterschaft der Frauen in Teheran; 2025 gewann sie die Frauensektion von Norway Chess. Anna Musytschuk ist die ältere Schwester der ehemaligen Weltmeisterin Marija Musytschuk.

LEAD: A group of shareholders of the Occidental Petroleum Corporation has settled a dispute over the use of $86 million in Occidental funds to build an art museum for Armand Hammer, the company's chairman and chief executive. Another group, however, said it would oppose the proposed settlement when the class action lawsuit comes up for approval in Delaware Chancery Court on April 4.

LEAD: The United Brands Company announced it would change its name to Chiquita Brands International Inc., effective March 20. The change is intended to increase the Cincinnati-based company's recognition, but will not alter its business strategy, said Keith E. Lindner, president and chief operating officer.

LEAD: Conrail said it had bought back 22.32 million of its shares - about one-third of its outstanding common stock - at $49 a share, or a total of more than $1 billion. Under a previously announced ''Dutch auction,'' Conrail invited each shareholder to tender shares at a price between $43 and $53. Conrail earlier announced it would repurchase the shares delivered at or below $49.

LEAD: The Chrysler Corporation extended its guaranteed rebate program through the end of March. The cash incentives range from $500 to $2,000 off the price of all Chrysler cars and trucks except for the popular mini-vans and the LeBaron convertible models. The announcement marks the second time Chrysler has extended the rebates since they were introduced in mid-December.
